Home sale prices show little change in Florida and Ocala area

The median sale price for single-family homes in Florida has risen to $427,000, marking a 1.7% increase from last year. However, in Ocala/Marion County, the median sale price dropped by 11.3% to $290,000. The active listing inventory for single-family homes in Florida increased by 60.1% compared to last year. The supply of these homes reached a 4.6-months’ supply, suggesting a more balanced market. Cash sales for these homes decreased by 14.7% statewide. The median sales price for townhouses and condos in Ocala/Marion County decreased by 9.1% to $188,500.
